Working originally as a sub contractor on exotic vehicles some of the work
is illustrated here. Now for a number of years we continue to satisfy customers needs on a regular basis from our own base
in Cambridgeshire.
When we take on a restoration
of an existing ash frame the first job is to stabilise the structure if possible, assess its shape and fit and then work out
a method of replacement. Obviously this is much easier without the outer skin in place and we generally recommend that this
is removed carefully so a sound job is carried out.
However
this is not always possible and we can usually cope with repairs with the existing skin in place where practical. New
build jobs require the same initial approach but cross sections are made up to design and check either existing or new shapes.
We also have the ability to construct all the appropriate metal brackets
that hold these bodies together along with a pre-fitting programme of parts prior to skinning of the framework.
Taking this one step further we can of course undertake the full restoration
of any particular vehicle, from strip down to a finished working Vintage or Classic vehicle.
